# film.fun

> film.fun is an AI filmmaking platform. Creators write, generate, edit and publish films with AI. The APIs a developer or AI agent can call live on the product sites, not on www.film.fun: Splice for generation and editing, Studio for publishing episodes and series. Start with Splice.

What each site is for:

- **www.film.fun**: community, profiles, the Academy (courses) and articles. Its `/api/ecosystem/*` routes are for film.fun's own products (they use product keys) and are not a public API.
- **splice.film.fun**: the AI filmmaking studio, and the place to generate images, video, voice, music and sound, edit media, plan shots and render motion graphics.
  - Agents authenticate with a Splice agent key (`sk_…`, from https://splice.film.fun/dashboard/api-keys).
  - Every generation spends the account's credits.
- **studio.film.fun**: turns clips into projects, episodes and series with share links. It has its own API and keys (`ff_sk_…`).
